You'll need a visa to enter the Cape Verde Islands. The cost of this is £45.00 (standard processing service) or £60.00 (express processing service) but it's essential you register your details with us at least 7 days before you travel so that we can process the visa application for you. This can be done via the link below.
Once you've applied for your visa, we obtain the approval stamp from the Cape Verde Consulate on your behalf. This is then emailed to you in PDF Format for you to print off and take with you on your holidays.
When you arrive at passport control in Cape Verde, this stamp is your entry visa. There's no need for you to approach the visa office at the airport - simply proceed through to baggage reclaim.
Things you should know...
- You’ll need to submit your visa application form on our website at least 7 days before you’re due to travel - preferably earlier if possible, although we do offer a fast-track processing service.
- If you need to pay for a visa on arrival, please join the queue marked "visas" on the left side on arrival at your destination airport.
- Please note, all persons travelling to the Cape Verde Islands require a passport that is valid for a minimum of 6 months upon their return to the UK, and an entry visa.
- Please be aware that if applying for your visa on arrival, you can expect a waiting time of anything up to 3 hours.
